Hello! Let me introduce myself shortly – Allow me to use a nickname, my name is Lorikeet and I come from Japan.
Professionally, I’m a platform engineer who is interested in various topics, such as Ansible, IT Automation, Linux, Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps…but most importantly, sustainability in IT(GreenOps, Green Software).
Personally, I’m a nature & animal lover person who enjoys exploring nature places.
I also play the game of Go (Baduk) and can speak Korean as well.

What is this blog about?
I’m writing this blog to research the best way of managing IT infrastructure in a sustainable way. Since I read through a book Building Green Software published by O’Reilly, I learned how the IT industry has an important role in our planet’s sustainability. As a nature lover, and also as an IT engineer, I want to stand up to improve our IT management way to play a role in reducing carbon emissions.

My plan is to post articles with the tested solution to manage our IT in a greener way.
